Biogas is an energy source produced from the decomposition of organic matter. This decomposition process is  called anaerobic digestion.

Anaerobic digestion only occurs above 37 C.

===== Biogas Upgrading =====
**Biogas compression requires caution. The hydrogen sulfide can corrode canisters and damage equipment.**

Biogas upgrading is the removal of carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide from biogas.

After biogas upgrading, biogas can be compressed and stored.
